Direct to the deck installation:

Direct to the deck installation refers to the installation of our permanent roof system directly onto the roof deck, without the installation of a board and batten system (see below). Direct to the deck installations include:

-Removal of the first row (approximately) of shingles (unless existing roof is completely torn off).

-Installation of ice & water barrier on all eaves, gables and both sides of all valleys.

-Installation of a permanent roof system after a complete tear-off of the existing roof material.

Board and batten installation:

Board and batten installation refers to the installation of our permanent roof system onto 2” x 2” or 2” x 4” boards which are installed over the existing roof. Board and batten installations include:

-Removal of the first row (approximately) of shingles (unless existing roof is completely torn off).
-Installation of ice & water barrier on all eaves, gables and both sides of all valleys.

-Installation of one layer of Prodex Total reflective insulation.

-Installation of board and batten system as indicated by product.

-Installation of the permanent roof system onto the boards and batten system, creating a self-ventilated roof.
